This species is native to the scenic Harau Valley on the Indonesian island of Sumatra and just was recently introduced into cultivation. The color of the traps varies from vibrant red to orange but also green or yellow forms have been observed. Surely an interesting new addition to the genus.

Pictured plant is potted in a 7 x 7 cm pot for reference. Sizes may vary slightly.
